Meet The Orthodontist
Meet Dr. Brittany Ellis, who’s journey has been a testament to the power of orthodontic care and the confidence it can instill. From her early days as a professional cheerleader and chief resident at AT Still University’s Graduate Orthodontics Program to co-founding and operating a multi-location traveling orthodontics program for the last decade, Dr. Ellis has always been dedicated to the craft of transforming smiles. She is a member of the American Association of Orthodontics, Southern Society of Orthodontics, and Women in Orthodontics where she actively fosters a connection with her colleagues while refining a deep understanding of orthodontic principles and techniques.
She's mastered a range of modalities, from aligner therapy with Invisalign to traditional bracket and wire braces to expanders, temporary anchorage devices (TADS), and laser proficiency, enabling her to address a diverse array of dental concerns with expertise and finesse. She is unwavering in her commitment to competency, compassion, and patient-centered care. Dr. Ellis is grateful to call Oklahoma home and is ready to empower individuals to embrace their best smiles and achieve their goals.
Choreographing Care with Confidence
As a former professional cheerleader in the National Basketball Association and Arena Football League, she understands the importance of confidence and self-expression through a radiant smile. Dr. Ellis’ enthusiasm for excellence now extends beyond the dance floor to her orthodontic practice, Greater Oklahoma Orthodontics, where she strives to create personalized treatment plans that enhance her patients' self-confidence. With each patient she treats, Dr. Ellis sees an opportunity to make a positive impact, just as she did with the junior-varsity cheerleader whose smile transformation boosted her confidence to join the varsity squad. She understands the significance of smiling with confidence in every movement.
Dr. Tim Ellis, DMD, MS
A Father's Inspiration
Inspired by the birth of his first son and a heartfelt letter from an orthodontist during his third year of medical school, Dr. Tim redirected his focus towards dentistry - forgoing a medical residency to enroll in Dental School. Dr. Tim is an academic and author with work published in the fields of dentistry, pediatrics, neurosurgery, neuroscience, and brain injury.
Commitment to Community
As a former multi-specialty clinic director and licensed dentist, he is in charge of executing the overall vision of Greater Oklahoma Orthodontics with an emphasis on how to expand access to our services in rural areas throughout Oklahoma. He prioritizes our relationships with the community, general dentists, and other specialists. He is committed to identifying ways to improve patient experience, patient outcomes, and our team’s impact on the communities we serve. His active research interests are to explore how patient-centered care can improve oral health and the community at large. Keep Smiling.
